Brick Houses: Group Support

Build strong foundations for your business

So many freelancers struggle with marketing, whether it's understanding how to do it in the first place or being able to do it consistently and effectively.

And if your marketing isn't working, it makes it very hard to get new clients. And if you don't have clients, you don't make money. And if you don't make money, you won't stay in business very long.

So effective marketing is pretty important. It's one of the foundations of a good business.

Luckily, I offer marketing support on a group basis. You'll get access to my monthly co-working events, my quarterly lunch and learns/ask me anything sessions and exclusive members-only content and resources to help you improve your marketing.

About: Monthly Co-Working Events

I started running monthly co-working events way back in the 2020 lockdowns, and they were so productive. But after the lockdowns ended, they came to a natural end, and I focused on other areas of my business.

In 2025, I decided it was time to bring them back with a few tweaks. And so, once a month, I host monthly write-alongs.

These 90-minute co-working events are a chance for you to focus on your marketing content and sales copy.

How they work:

We start with a quick chat about what everyone is working on. This doesn't have to be detailed (and you don't have to share at all if you don't want to). We'll then have 45 minutes of dedicated writing time where you can work on your content without distraction. Then we'll reconvene for a group discussion. This is your chance to ask for advice or share any challenges. Again, there is no pressure to share if you aren't comfortable.

At the end of the session, I'll ask you to send me your "homework" for the month ahead. Don't panic - all this means is I want you to tell me what your marketing goal is for the next month. It could be as simple as publishing whatever you've worked on in the session or it could be writing the first draft of an ebook. The idea is that if you share your goal, you're more likely to work on it.

The benefits:

When you're relying on self-motivation alone to work on your marketing, it's easy to put it off and find excuses not to get things done. But if you've booked to come to my write-along, you're more likely to do the work. You've paid for the session, so you might as well get your money's worth (and you know I'm expecting you).

Focused writing time – dedicate time each month to your marketing content and sales copy.

Accountability - share your marketing goals, and I'll hold you accountable for achieving them.

Collaboration – get insight and feedback from other members.

Advice – learn tips and techniques from other freelancers and writers.

Results – turn ideas into finished written content

About: Quarterly lunch & learns with Q&A

Freelancers often neglect their learning and development, especially when they get busy. And while online courses are great, they can often involve a big time commitment.

My quarterly lunch and learns combine bite-sized training with an opportunity to ask specific marketing-related questions.

Plus, if you are shy, you can send your questions by email in advance, and I'll make sure I cover them in the session.

About: Exclusive Member-Only Content

Every month, you'll be sent an email with marketing tips and advice. Plus, you'll get access to an archive of member-only content that I've shared in the past.
